Make Money On EBay – Easily

I am a seller on eBay, and here are my top tips to make money on eBay easy. This is aimed at helping newcomers make money on eBay, beginning with some important basics.

First, when you register on eBay you need a name (eBay ID) to choose. Give this serious thought, not only the most important thing that matters to you – why? Because if you want to be taken seriously by buyers on eBay, your name should look professional and ideally relate to the nature of the things you want to sell, and be memorable.

The same applies to the name of your eBay store when you open one, a bit later. Your name and store name would fit together. Ex. If you are going to sell the gems, your ID will be “gemster ‘or’ just gems’ and your shop could be called ‘gems gems plotters’ or something like that. Who would trust a buyer (and remember) if they are torn between your gems and other eBayer’s gems, if your competitor was called plutredoper? (Yes, I know that name does not make sense, and you’d be surprised how many eBay ID’s are like this).

About what to sell on eBay, what are your passions? Because if there is an area that inspires you, you’re more likely to put your heart and soul than if you just choose one area because you think it will make you money. So if you love books or cards, or cards, or CDs or DVDs or jewelry or whatever, research that area first. If you specialize in the area a “niche” You will be much more successful – only the study Power Sellers on eBay. These are the most successful eBayers.

A niche is a specialized division of a larger market. For example, if you want to sell jewelry is best to focus on a particular type eg body jewelry, silver jewelry, brooches, charms and so on. If you even better, because you can let people know they can not get that item somewhere else in the world.

To find out what sells well on eBay, log in to eBay and press the ‘buy’ tab. Choose the category you want to study silver jewelry for example, then the left side of the page click on “completed listings”. Then at the top right of the page Go to ‘sort’ and choose ‘highest price first. You can see which items had the most bids, which do not sell at all and which brought the highest price! All this is invaluable research that will save you wasting a lot of time and money on the wrong products.
