This morning I was reviewing my logs as I do each week to see how people are finding Affiliate Watcher.Com when I kept noticing something strange. I then went to my Google Webmaster account and checked over the last months analytical to verify what I was seeing on my logs.

I’m ranking pretty high in the Goggle SERPS for the term affliate programs. Yes, affliate program is misspelled, it should be affiliate programs.

In the past month, the terms affiliate program, affiliate programs, top affiliate program has been responsible for over 2000 visits.

In another example, on a weight loss of my blogs, I discovered that it was found wth a misspelling of a very competitive keyword. So I wrote a blog about people finding my weight Loos site by typing in misspelled keyword. You know what? In a week’s time I took # 1 in Elgoog for the misspelled keyword and the increased traffic to my bog, and increased my RSS subscribers.

WHY YOU SHOULD TARGET misspelled KEYWORDS

To those who use PPC marketing to earn money on the Internet, misspelled words are a gold mine. In many cases, misspelled keywords outperform any correctly spelled keywords. Not everyone is a perfuct spelling, and even the best typist hit the wrong keys everyonce in a while when you perform searches.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH MISSPELLED KEYWORDS

If you’re using Google Analytic, go into your control panel and and go to ”Traffic Sources” then go to “Keywords”. This is where you’ll see the keywords that people are finding your website.

If you’re using another program such as Stat Counter, it’s just as easy. Just find the Keyword button.

You should then add those misspelled words into your keyword list. Find someway to add them to your content of your websight. I think you’ll be pleasantly happy with the results.
